There is a wide world of drug abuse out there. With the FDA cracking down on more and more chemical ingredients people are becoming extremely creative in ways to create drugs. We’ve put together a list of what we believe to be the top five craziest drugs you may not know about.

5. Benzo-Fury

Benzo-Fury was created in response to the crack down on designer drugs like MDMA and Ecstasy. Sold predominately online this drugs escapes the law with its complex loopholes. The manufactures label this a research drug not to be consumed by humans. Still many are consuming it because of its similarities to popular designer drugs.

4. Krokodil

First used in 1932 as a painkiller but soon banned because of its effect on the users body. Krokodil gets its name because of its side effect of drying the user’s skin leaving it with a reptile-like appearance. Popular in Russia this drug is a cheaper and easier alternative to heroin. Made up of various drugs common in the production of meth Krokodil is however five times more potent.

3. Bromo-dragonfly

One of the most potent and dangerous hallucinogens ever produced is Bromo-Dragonfly. Its effects are very comparable to that of the drug LSD. Unlike LSD the trips created by Bromo-Dragon can be active for up to three days. Side effects of this drug can include seizures, spasms and blood vessel constriction. The name is garnered from its molecular structure that looks like a dragon fly.

2. Etorphine

This drug is used to sedate large animals like elephants so you can imagine the potency and danger one can incur from ingesting it. Etorphine is 5000 times more potent than heroin. We all know the downfalls heroin has created but scientists have topped that by creating this drug so strong even skin contact can cause a human overdose.

The most dangerous drug on this list would have to go to Scopolamine also known as devil’s breath. This odorless and tasteless drug has become widely popular amongst gangs within Colombia. This drug when used incorrectly eliminates the action of free will while its victims are wide awake. It derivatives have also been used to help subside nausea, irritable bowel syndrome and more. Despite its possibility for good the Borrachero plant where it is derived from is mostly used to for robbing people.
